I spent a week traveling in Ladakh, a breathtakingly beautiful region in the Himalayas situated between Kashmir, Pakistan, and China (actually Tibet). Ladakhi people we met were very friendly and helpful; most in Leh are Tibetan Buddhist. We were at an altitude between 10,000-18,000 feet (I was in awe every time I saw someone biking on the mountain roads, the air was so thin I could barely breath after walking up a flight of stairs). Even though I don't think these photos really do the place justice, I'll let them do most of the talking here. Leave a comment below or write me if you'd like to hear more about the place and the stories behind the photos.
